Bisbee High School

2013/2014 School Year

Welcome to Bisbee High School, the home of the Pumas! Bisbee High is a school and culture that believes in progress and positive change. We are constantly striving to improve every aspect of our school, and we know that reaching our goals requires a day-in, day-out all year long press for excellence. Towards those ends we have instituted classroom norms in all classes and a proactive assessment and responsive academic intervention program. We have also developed a thoughtful three year plan that is reflected in our School Improvement Plan. We assertively seek assistance from our local community and the industries that support our economy, and believe we are part of a global society that awaits our students. The faculty of BHS meets weekly to examine, discuss, and act on improving our school because student success is our priority!

BHS enjoys a four day school week, and while we do have a closed campus, our Student Council and the school at large are working to develop a Student Union as part of our cafeteria. We have many extra-curricular offerings such as sports, clubs, student government, music, drama, and choir, just to name a few, and most are offered for free or at a minimal cost to students. BHS is a school where everyone can participate in numerous activities.
