Instructional Update 3/4/2021

Effective Monday, March 15, 2021, all Bisbee Unified School District campuses will discontinue the Hybrid learning model. All students attending in person are expected to attend Monday through Thursday. The district will continue to offer synchronous remote learning opportunities for students that request this option. Students that opt for remote learning will need to remain online participating in classroom activities throughout the entire school day. All mitigation practices remain in place including masks being required and social distancing to the greatest extent possible. Transportation and food service will continue to operate as they have done during the hybrid learning period. Students that opt to stay remote can still come to school to pick up meals. The onsite learning space in the computer labs will not be staffed and available. If a student wants to stay remote but needs to be on campus for connectivity issues, they should contact the campus principal to see what options they can accommodate. Please be aware that these changes are in-line with the updated CDC guidelines. For the week of March 1, 2021, Cochise County cases and percent positivity are in the moderate range. This change will align Bisbee USD with the Executive Order released by Governor Ducey on March 3, 2021.
