Start of Year Information

Posted Date: 08/13/2020

Parents,

Bisbee USD will start classes online on August 18th. We do have onsite services available starting next week for students that need services including a computer and internet services at each campus. These services start on the 17th (high school campus only) then all campuses on the 18th. Breakfast and Lunch will be available starting on the 18th for all students. If you are doing online from home then you will need to go to the child's campus to obtain the meals. Students attending for on-site services will have the option to bring their lunch or utilize the district meal service.

If your child has technical issues logging in or using google classroom please email learningsupport@busd.k12.az.us

On-site services are not direct classroom instruction. The students will be receiving instruction in a supervised setting through the on-line format.

More information about the on-site services, the district mitigation plan, distance learning etc. can be found on the 20-21 school year information page located on the district website. https://www.busd.k12.az.us/43892_1

At this time the district has checked out all the Chromebooks we had available to check out. We have more on order and will resume checkout of these next week.

Parent's must complete the following.

Parent acknowledgement form. (All enrolled students) form located on the information page.

Daily Health Screening Checklist - This form will be posted daily on the information page and must be completed for students who will be on campus that day. Paper copies will be available for parents that prefer this method.

At this time transportation will not be running bus routes until we are cleared to start the Hybrid in class instruction. We wll review this based on identified needs of our parents and students.

We understand that having to change plans late has added confusion and can be frustrating for everyone. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Before Tuesday all students should receive information about accessing the online instruction from their campus of attendance.
