I. Celebrations
I'd like to celebrate the work and effort that our high school students, Mr. Rice-Stewart and his class, our student council, Mr. and Mrs. Garcia, and the Bisbee fire department will be putting into making our Haunted Halloween Dance a success. We're very excited!
Announcement one:
Spirit Week! We had fun today with Pajama Day.
Tuesday; Anything-but-a-backpack Day! (Students may bring anything to put their belongings in--ie., a funny looking tote bag, a wagon, etc....However, based on some questions from the students, they may not bring a younger sibling from Greenway and they may not bring in a family dog.
Wednesday: Twin Day! Students may pick a friend and dress up like their twin! I might come in dressed as Mr. Hill!
Thursday: Costume Day! This is when we go across the street to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos. Students may wear their Halloween costumes. No masks and no props that look like weapons.
Thursday night!: This is where the fun begins. Haunted Halloween Dance from 6pm-8:30pm. $3/person. Students will go to the dance and then be guided through the haunted school in groups of five!
